Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Westbrook Foods Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
