Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Greenridge Cedar Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Baltimore region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
