Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Summit Hollow Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
