Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Baltimore plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
