Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Westbrook Forge Transit Planning Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
