Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight River Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Milwaukee area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
