Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Field Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
