Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Amberfield Cedar Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Virginia Beach working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
