Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight Glen Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Nashville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
