Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Fernwood Sable Manufacturing makes precision components in Jackson, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
