Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight Orchard Freight Associates is a Seattle logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
