Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Northwind Pike Manufacturing makes precision components in St. Louis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
