Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Ironwood Sparrow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Providence. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
