Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Umber Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Atlanta, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
