Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Little Rock plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
