Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bright Birch Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
