Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Fern Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Denver. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
