Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bright Maple Manufacturing is a Pittsburgh manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
