Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Vale Manufacturing Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
