Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
