Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Rivermark Ridge Manufacturing is a Pittsburgh manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
