Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight Wren Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
