Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Yarrow Foods Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
