Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Indianapolis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
