Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Redstone Sparrow Foods produces packaged foods at its Toledo plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
