Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Greenridge Meadow Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Providence plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
