Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Stonegate Ivory Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Antonio, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
