Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Bridge Foods produces packaged foods at its Philadelphia plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
