Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Ironwood Loom Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Louisville and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
