Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Ironwood Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Nashville and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
