Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bright Forge Freight Group is a Atlanta logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We reward reliability. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
