Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Nova Forge Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
