Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Rowan Freight Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
