Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Stone Farms is an agricultural business based around Buffalo. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
