Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Foxglove Harbor Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Atlanta region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
