Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Keystone Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Raleigh region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
