Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Bright Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Raleigh and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
