Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Lumen Bright Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
