Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Ironwood Glen Foods Group is a Raleigh food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
