Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Rivermark Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Raleigh. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
