Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Portland, OR)

Summit Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Portland. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
