Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Maple Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
