Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Ember Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Portland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
