Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Rowan Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Pittsburgh, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
