Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Linden Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
