Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Glen Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Pittsburgh, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
