Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Union Inspection Services Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration.
