Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Phoenix, AZ)

Harborlight Pine Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
