Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Phoenix, AZ)

Summit Ridge Construction is a Phoenix contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
