Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Phoenix, AZ)

Harborlight Willow Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
